Streisand & Diamond: The Way We Were
The Way We Were celebrates the life and times of two struggling artists from Brooklyn who became two of the worlds most loved performers, Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond!
Hear how the lives of these two superstars become intertwined over the years through the most curious of circumstances. Little did they know that when they sang in the school choir together they were both set to achieve world-wide acclaim, and would join forces again twenty years later to sing ‘You don’t bring me flowers’ –one of the most famous duets of all time.
The Way We Were features everything from poignant Streisand classics such as Don’t rain on my Parade and Evergreen, to Diamond’s Hot August Night rockers such as Cherry Cherry and Crunchy Granola Suite, performed by two critically acclaimed international artists, Gabrielle Parbo and Dominic Finley supported by their sensational backing group –The Diamantes.

Justin Bernasconi - CD Launch
Presented by Ranges Concert Lounge
London born Justin Bernasconi arrived Australia as a traveler in 2004, formed The Stillsons in 2006, and along with Cat Canteri, and Ben Franz, the group has released three critically albums which have built a solid reputation both nationally and internationally, with 'Never Go Your Way' being voted 'Country Album of 2013' in Rhythms magazine readers poll.
Through his live performances and recordings with The Stillsons, Justin’s acoustic and electric guitar playing has been brought to national attention in both Rhythms, and in Australian Guitar Magazine, where he was named ‘Guitarist to Watch’.
In 2013, Bernasconi was asked to play at both the prestigious The Melbourne Guitar Makers Concert, and Port Fairy Folk Festival ‘Guitar Concert’, alongside fellow contemporaries: Nick Charles, Kim Churchill, John McCutcheon, and Chris Smithers.
This concert sees the launch of his solo album ‘Winter Pick’ - recorded and produced by Jeff Lang over the winter of 2012, and demonstrates Justin’s considerable grasp of British and American folk guitar styles and eclectic songwriting. Justin will be joined by Pete Fidler (dobro/ mandolin), Luke Richardson (double bass), and Cat Canteri (vocals).
Special guest: Cat Canteri
